Raiffeisen Bank Zrt. offers universal banking services, and deals in short, medium and long-term credit provision, including working-capital loans, bill-of-exchange discounting, advances on export receivables, gurantee provision, foreign-currency lending and custody services.In the area of foreign trade, it performs documentary transactions related to export-import activity (letters of credit, documentary collection, guarantees, clean payments, etc.), and deals in arbitrage (cash- and forex-conversion and forwardcurrency) transactions, investment and financial advice, as well as project finance. In Hungary it collects forint and foreign-currency deposits from large and medium-sized businesses, municipalities and institutions. Since 1994 Raiffeisen Bank has been expanding its relations with the municipalities through its head office and branch network, primarily in the areas of account management, liquidity management, and the financing of infrustructural and environmental developments. Since 1996 the bank has been providing custody services to pension funds, municapalities and investment funds.

Raiffeisen Bank Zrt.’s domestic and international network of financial-institution relations is substantial and varied: it has built, and maintains, correspondent relations around the world with more than 950 banks. This allows for rapid and professional execution of clean payments and foreign-trade transactions, and enables active participation in international loan-syndication and asset-trading activity. Through its Friedrich Wilhelm RaiffeisenPrivate Banking division, the bank offers individual solutions for managing the finances of its high net-worth private customers, from basic banking services to complex wealth management solutions.

Since January 1999 the bank’s retail division, too, has been at the disposal of private individuals, providing them with modern products and multiple communication and transaction channels. The retail division offers current account management, deposit fixing, automatic investment, personal loan, home loan, leasing and other, supplementary, services to its customers. Raiffeisen Bank Zrt. is also at the disposal of its corporate as well as its small and medium-sized business customers, with a continuously expanding product offering, while focusing on delivering a better, faster and smoother serviceto its all its customers.
